Rev. SandraLee Stenstrom
Pastor Sandy experienced a call to ministry after working as a Registered Nurse in a variety of Health Care settings and capacities for 30 years.
As she began her journey into pastoral ministry, Sandy became certified as a Christian Life Coach through the Professional Christian Coaching and Counseling Center, attended Somerset Christian College earning a BA in Christian Counseling, and then began her seminary work at Drew University, graduating in 2014 with a Master of Divinity Degree.
Ordained as a Full Elder in the United Methodist Church, Pastor Sandy is an impassioned healer walking with others to journey in recovery of life’s challenges and traumas while embracing the fullness of life offered through a relationship with Jesus the Christ; claiming and becoming all God created each of us to be.
Because of her own experience of being unchurched for many years, Pastor Sandy believes that outreach is an essential ministry of Christ’s church and that it is never too late to be all God created you to be.
Pastor Sandy believes that there is absolutely nothing that can separate us from the love of God (Romans 8:38) and is committed to working toward justice and full inclusion for all those who have been marginalized and oppressed by the church.
